Waverly, Nov. 12. - Charles Eldridge, 83, died at 5 p.m. today at his home here.
He is survived by his wife, Lucinda, and the following children: Mrs. Rosa Baggerly, Mrs. Elsie Points, Mrs. Neva Austiff, Cleve, Oren and Earl Eldridge, all of Waverly; Mrs. Katie Pence, Palmyra; Chris Eldridge, Jacksonville. Forty-two grandchildren and thirty-two great-grandchildren also survive.
Remains will be removed from the Neece funeral home to the residence Monday afternoon. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Waverly Baptist church. Interment will be in East cemetery.
