Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Vance, of Waverly, died at 9:50 o'clock Tuesday morning at Passavant hospital in this city, where she had been a patient since June 6. She was born in Macoupin county, February 25, 1868, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth McGinnis Draper.
Surviving are her husband, Sidney Vance, five daughters, Letha Maude Plummer and Myrtle Smothers, both of Griggsville; Edith Lyons and Trula Walk, both of Waverly and Izetta Bartz of Franklin. There are also 23 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Neece Funeral Home in Waverly, Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. O. A. Ogden officiated. Burial will be in Waverly Cemetery.
