Dallas, Texas-- Bert F. Adams, 72,of Dallas, died Tuesday, January 11,2005, in a Dallas hospital. Mr. Adams was born August 14,1932, in Texarkana, Texas. He was retired from Day & Zimmermann and a Marine Corps veteran. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Candy Adams of University Park, Texas; one daughter, Brenda Carpenter of Texarkana; two brothers, George Adams and A.G. Adams of Texarkana; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be 1 p.m. today at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center Voluntary Services, 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, Texas, 75216.
