Mr. Adams was born March 23, 1928 in Avery, Texas.
He was retired from Red River Army Depot. George was a Veteran of the M-4-11 U.S. Marine Corps and was a survivor of the Battle of The Chosin Reservoir in Korea and a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Northeast Chapter of the Chosin Few, a member of KWVA Chapter 221, and a member of the Evening Kiwanis Club. He was a Christian and a member of Centre West Baptist Church, Wake Village, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Erna; one brother; and a number of other relatives and friends.
Burial: Chapelwood Memorial Gardens with U.S. Marine Corps military rites.
