Adell Goff Akermon, age 91, of Buffalo, passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011, at the Cook Family Care Center in Cox's Creek.She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Akermon; a son, Jerry Akermon; a sister, Gwendolyn Wright.She is survived by a son, Leonard "Speedy" (Beverly) Akermon of Hodgenville; a sister, Helen McGuffin of Elizabethtown; three grandchildren, Shelia Haselwood, Shellie Thompson and Lyn Akermon; seven great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday, November 11, 2011, at the Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville, Rev. Larry Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery
