Born December 19, 1931 at Lutesville, MO; daughter of James Joseph and Myrtle Lillie Cook Garland. She and John Dave Cook were married December 13, 1947 at Marble Hill and he passed away on February 16, 2006. She worked as a sewing machine operator for the Hat Factory and a member of the General Baptist faith. Survivors include; son Gary W. Cook, Marble Hill, sister Geraldine Cook of Marble Hill; two granddaughters; Misty Douglas and Tory Turner both of Marble Hill, and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Ransom, Lenwood, Hobert and Junior; sisters Donie Cook, Luddie Cook and Dorothy Alvine Cook.
