HERBERT E. HENSCHEL

Herbert E. Henschel, 63, of 2111 Broadway, New Holstein, retired Town of Meeme farmer, died Wednesday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, Sheboygan.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley. The Rev. Kenneth Schultz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Henschel was born Feb. 12, 1905, in the Town of Meeme, son of the late Louis Henschel and Ella Arnoldi Henschel. He married Hildegard Christel of St. Nazianz
Feb. 29, 1931, and the couple lived several years in School Hill before farming northwest of Spring Valley in the Town of Meeme. He retired in April of 1967 and moved to New Holstein.
Mr. Henschel was a former member of the school board of Meeme District No. 2.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Marilyn) Gosse of Howards Grove-Millersville, and Mrs. Wayne (Elverta) Reinemann of Franklin: two sons, Kenneth of School Hill and Vernon, stationed at Fort Story, Va. with the U.S Army; eight grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Ella Henschel of R. 1, Newton; two sisters. Mrs. Albert Schmitt of Kiel, and Mrs. Clarence Stolzmann of Cleveland, and two brothers, Leslie of R. 1, Kiel, and Harvey of R. 1, Newton.
His wife died Aug. 7, 1960.
