Blakemore Sr. Aug. 21, 1921, at Liberal. He died in 1960. She was co-owner of the Ideal Food Store chain, and a resident of Liberal most of her life, moving to Scottsdale, Ariz., in June 1982.
Survivors: son, James A. Blakemore Jr., Scottsdale; daughters, Jane Feitelson, Bermuda Dunes, Calif., Joyce E. Yeager, Scottsdale; brother, Gene Francis, Dodge City; sister, Ruth Mary Robertson, Wichita; and seven grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Friday at Liberal Cemetery, the Rev. Dan Shaeffer.
