Died 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 13, 1990, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 83, a native of Thibodaux, and a resident of Greenwell Springs. Visiting at Welsh Funeral Home, 9 to 10 a.m. Monday. Religious services at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 10:30 a.m. Monday, conducted by Msgr. Leo Guillot. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly Daigle and Winton Earl Turner, and Jo-Ann Daigle and Paul J. Miller, all of Greenwell Springs; four sisters, Inez Burns, San Francisco, Calif., Lena Marroy, and Barbara Ackerman, both of Norco, and Velma Samson, Baton Rouge; two brothers, Murphy Bourgeois, Norco, and Clarence Bourgeois, Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, Teresa Turner Curtis, Tara Turner Pocorello, Michelle Marie Miller, Michael A. and Mark Turner, and Joseph Lee Miller; two granddaughters-in-law, Kathie B. Turner, and Jackie C. Turner; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph W. Daigle; parents, Arthur and Louise Bourgeois; three brothers, Clifford, Arthur, and Carl Bourgeois; and a sister, Rosemary Bourgeois. Pallbearers are Joseph Lee Miller, Michael A. and Mark A. Turner, Michael Curtis, Lonnie S. Pocorello, and Bobby Donaldson. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
