Clarence 'Pierre' Bourgeois, retired teacher for the Louisiana State School of the Blind, died Saturday At Baton Rouge General Medical Center. He Was 75. Mr. Bourgeois was born in St. Charles Parish and lived in Norco for 20 years before moving to Baton Rouge. He worked for the Louisiana State School for 25 years. He worked as a doorman at United Artists Theater in Baton Rouge. He was an Army Veteran of World War II, and received the Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and a Bronze Star. Survivors include 4 sisters, Lena B. Marroy And Barbara B. Ackerman, Both Of Norco, Inez B. Burns of San Francisco and Velma B. Samson. Funeral will be Monday 1PM at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park, Baton Rouge. 07-19-1998 Times Picayune
