Sara Elizabeth Stowers, 79 of Sweeny, Texas passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 22, 1933 in Leroy, Texas to John E. and Annie (Atchison) Nichols.
Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Stowers, Michael Hamilton, Nick and Ethan Coker, Danny and Nathan Peveto, Doug and Joey Stowers.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Annie Nichols; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Sara is survived by her husband, Stanley Stowers of Sweeny; sons, Stanley Stowers, Jr. of Sweeny, and Larry D. Stowers and wife, Terri of Lake Jackson; daughters, Lou Gromoski and husband, David of Brazoria, Suzanne Vickers and husband, Allen of Sweeny; along with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
