June Elizabeth Westfall, 74, of 2507 New River Road, Hinton, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2003, at her home following a short illness.

Born June 23, 1929, at Abraham, she was the daughter of the late Charles O. and Flora Lee Arthur Smith.

Mrs. Westfall was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hinton.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Wesley H. "Buster" Westfall; a son, Wayne Westfall and wife, Pat, of Beckley; two brother, C.O. Smith Jr. of Beckley and Rodney B. Smith of Bristol, Va.; four sisters, Juanita Fitzgerald of Orlando, Fla., Marie Richmond of Beckley, Eileen Mann of Shady Spring and Ida Lee Garten of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren, Alisa Smith of Ghent and Matthew Westfall of Covington, Va.; and a great-grandson, Christopher Smith.

Services were 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11th at Pivont Funeral Home Chapel in Hinton with Richard Leighton officiating. Burial will follow in Restwood Memorial Gardens, Hinton.
