Tom W. Cathey, age 77, of Briggsville died Tuesday, January 22, 1974. He was a retired farmer and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Cathey of CA.; a daughter, Mrs. Ernest Sanner of Colorado; three brothers, Earl Cathey of Texas, Irby Cathey of Melbourne and John Cathey of Briggsville; five sisters, Neva Castleberry of Briggsville, Mrs. Gladys Mathis of Ola, Mrs. Lona Mathis of Texas, Mrs. Velma Click of Nashville and Mrs. Lois Wayland of Little Rock; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
