Born in Stephens County on May 5, 1911, he was a son of the late George Manson and Rebecca Ardelia Cash Anderson. He was also preceded in death by his sons, Morgan V. Anderson and Leo Verdell Anderson; sister, Marcelle Ansley; and brothers, Ralph Anderson and James Anderson.
He was a graduate of the Habersham Agriculture and Mechanical school, and he retired from Alto Industrial Institute in 1969. He was a member of Demorest Baptist Church.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm, Saturday, Aug 5, 2000 at Demorest Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Glade Creek Bapt. Church Cemetery.
