Marilyn Ann McCord, 16, daughter of Virgil and Mary McCord, 2701 Pearl St., died shortly after noon yesterday at Robert Long Hospital. She had been ill with rheumatic fever.
Miss McCord was a native of Indianapolis and had lived here 13 years, coming here with her parents from Elwood. She attended El Dorado School, but was not enrolled this year.
Survivors include the parents, 8 brothers, SGT Howard Wagner, in Hamburg Germany; Fred and Leslie McCord of Anderson; and Ray, Frank, Danny, Jerry and Ernest, all at home; 4 sisters, Mrs. Sue Hall of Compton, CA; Mrs. Anna Lycan of Anderson; Hazel & Peggy McCord, both at home; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Hazel McCord of Anderson.
Arrangements are being made by the Brown and Butz Funeral Home and were not announced at this time.
