Carolyn Sue Hall, 66, of Columbia City, died at 10:48 a.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne where she was admitted ten days prior.

She was born December 2, 1942 in Frankton, Indiana a daughter of Virgil William and Mary Ann (Schrock) McCord. Her formative years were spent in Anderson.

On November 18, 1961 she was united in marriage to William F. Hall. They made their home in Compton, California and later Kalamazoo, Michigan for 20 years. In 1993 they moved to South Whitley until moving to Columbia City seven years ago.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Bill; two sons, Archie (Connie) Hall and David Hall, both of Columbia City; six grandchildren; six brothers, Howard Wagner of Peru, Virgil McCord Jr. of Anderson, Frank McCord of Roseville, MI, Charlie McCord of Peru, Jerry McCord and Ernie McCord, both of Wabash; and two sisters, Hazel Carpenter and Peggy Learned, both of Wabash.

She was preceded in death by a son, Billy Hall; two sisters, Anna Lycan and Marilyn McCord; and two brothers, Fred McCord and Les McCord.

There will be no visitation or service.
