Jim was the son of Samuel Trowbridge and Harriet Addie Evans Trowbridge. At the time of his death he owned the 505 Liquor store on West Reed Street and resided at 505 1/2 Reed Street. He was a meat cutter at several Grocery stores and owned several Restaurants over his 55 years in the Moberly, Mo area. He was the former owner of the Roosevelt liquor store also in Moberly. Jim once owned a large gambling hall. He was a member of the Methodist church. Jim had a very close friend, Miss Louise Hardin who handled the funeral arrangements. Jim had no children.
