She was born in Burnside, November 27, 1920, daughter of the late Robert H. and Mabel Hardwick Flynn. She was a former school teacher in the Somerset School System for 35 years, retiring in 1983; and was very active in arts and crafts. She was a member of East Somerset Homemakers Club, Kentucky Education Association, Retired Teachers Association, Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority and First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bob Corder, Tallahassee, Florida, and Chuck Corder, Somerset; a daughter, Jimmie Corder Miller, Tallahassee; a brother, Charles H. Flynn, Vienna, Virginia; a sister, Roberta Flynn Lacklen, Greensboro, North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Corder; her parents; a sister, Zelleen F. Hughes; and a grandson, Gregory Corder Hranicky .
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 14, at the chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company with the Revs. Jim Byrd and Thomas F. Adams officiating.
Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery.
