Marie Zeglen, 86, of 4 S. Elmwood Road died at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2002, at her residence.

Born Sept. 8, 1915, in Gilchrist to Charles and Stella Vrubel Gnyla, she married Adolph G. Zeglen Sr. on Jan. 4, 1930, in Waukegan. He died Feb. 3, 1994.

Surviving are four sons, Adolph and Thomas, both of Farmington, John (and Carol) of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and Michael of Anchorage, Ala.; two daughters, Cyndi (and Jim) Schreiner of Farmington and Helen (and John) Voorhees of Canton; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; four great-greatgrandchildren; two brothers, William Turner and Robert (and Janet) Turner, both of Elmwood; and three sisters, Stella Smalley and Donna Turner, both of Elmwood, and Darlene (and James) Rittenhouse of Yates City.

One son, Rudolph; two daughters, Loretta Ball and Debra Zeglen; and one brother preceded her in death.

She had been a member of the Farmington Women of the Moose since 1989.

She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church of Farmington, where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. Bruce King will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson-Sedgwick Funeral Home, with a wake service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to her church or Methodist Hospice.
