Fern B. Lambert, 102, of Washington, died Thursday, February 21, 2013, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born February 25, 1910, in Washington, a daughter of Jesse John and Myrtle Howard Briggs.

Mrs. Lambert was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Washington.

Prior to her retirement, she worked in the laundry department of Washington Hospital.

On October 13, 1928, she married Roylance "Lance" Lambert, who died November 12, 1977.

Surviving are a brother, Charles Briggs of Washington, and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a daughter, Fern Davis; a brother, Jesse Briggs; and two sisters, Mary Jones and Eva Riding.

Friends will be received from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday in Hummell and Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, and Douglas M. Jones, director, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February, 25, with the Rev. L. Stephen Smith Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
