COEBURN, Va. – Marvin Lee Bond, 63, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2007, at Mountain View Medical Center in Norton, Va.

He was a member of Pine Camp Church of God of Prophecy, where he served as song leader and a Sunday school teacher.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Flossie Hazel Carico Bond, and grandson, Dillon Bond.
Survivors include a daughter, Terri Malone and husband Bill, Bristol Tennessee; a son, Scott Bond and wife Rhonda, Coeburn; two sisters, Fredia Ceigle, Coeburn, and Sherry Righter, Columbus, Ohio; seven brothers, Barry Bond, Batavia, Ohio, Arnold Bond, Salisberry, Md., Bill V. Bond, the Rev. Curtis Bond, the Rev. Kenny Bond, Larry Bond and Mickey Bond, all of Coeburn; grandchildren, Hunter Bond, Blake Morrell and Casey Morrell; and special friend, Ronnie Mutter, Coeburn.

Visitation for Marvin Bond will be held after 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at the Pine Camp Church of God of Prophecy and funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, at the church with the Rev. Curtis Bond, Brother Ival Mitchell, the Rev. Charlie Couch and the Rev. Kenny Bond officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Acres Memorial Gardens in Coeburn.
Arrangements are by Estes Funeral Home, 114 High Ave. N.E., Coeburn.
