Kjestine "Christine" Marie Moller, daughter of Rasmus Moller and Lise Hermansen, was born in Skodborg, Haderslev, Denmark on 29 January, 1844. Some of her siblings are: Rasmus Petersen Miller, b. 1846; and Louis Petersen Miller, b. 1853, Soren Pedersen Miller, b.1857, all born in Skadborg, Haderslev, Denmark.

She married 23 April 1870, Peder Nielson/Nelson, the son of Falle Nielsen and Mette Kjestine Bramsen, at Osby, Haderslev, Denmark, the same place Peter Nielson was born. Peter was born 01 January 1847 and christened 12 January 1847. A child, Falle, was born to them also in Osby, Haderslev, Denmark on July 12, 1870. Peter, with his family, immigrated to the United States in 1871, settling in Blooming Prairie Township, Steele, County, Minnesota.

The children of Christine and Peter are: 1. Falle; 2. Mette Kjerstine Nielsen; 3. Lise Maria/"Mary"/or Marie Eliza Nielson who married Peter Christian "Chris" Hanson and moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa; 4. Falle Nielsen (named after his older brother who died in the year before he was born); 5. Emma Bothilde Nielsen who married Henry Emil Hansen; 6. Bartoline Nielsen/ Bertha "Lena" Nielsen who married Jens Knudsen "J.K." Jensen; and 7. Rasmus P. Nielsen.

The death record says that Christine died of heart failure on February 27, 1899, at age 55. Family sources have documented her as having tuberculosis. She is buried in the same lot as her husband Peter and son Falle in Union Cemetery, Blooming Prairie, Steel County, Minnesota.
