Mrs. Nancy Kilby Sprinkle, age 66, widow of Charles Kent Sprinkle, of Tabernacle Road, North Wilkesboro, died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at UNC Chapel Hill Hospital. Mrs. Sprinkle was born January 16, 1944 to Gaither and Ella Blanche Shumate Kilby. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Sprinkle was preceded in death by her parents; her son, David Call; brother, David Kilby; and sister, Margie Teague.
Surviving are two daughters, Donna Wagoner and husband Darryl of Hays; Denise Call Blankenship and husband Andy of Ferguson; four brothers, Thom Kilby and wife Jan of Millers Creek, Eddie Kilby of Hays, Mason Kilby and wife Rachel of Ronda, Roy Lee Kilby of Ronda; two sisters, Betty Jo Cleary and husband Boyd of Traphill, Carol Elledge and husband Daniel of Wilkesboro; four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; special dog, Lady Bug; four step daughters; one step son and eleven step grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 o'clock Wednesday at Miller Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Fred Holbrook officiating. Entombment will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 12:00 until 2:00 o'clock on Wednesday, prior to the service.
