Mrs. Sanders was a member of the East Side Baptist Church in Richton. She was a former employee, for many years, with the Marshall Durbin Poultry Plant in Hattiesburg and at the Perry County General Hospital in Richton.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Scott Sanders and Jimmy Sanders; a daughter, Pattie Stephens; brothers, Welton Burnett and Melvin Burnett and sisters, Christine Malone, Evelyn Newell and Irene Burnett.
She is survived by her son, Rick Sanders of Hattiesburg; sister Mary M. "Mag" Malone of Richton; six grandchildren, Jason Sanders, Tina Carter, Zack Sanders, Toni Slinger, Kim Endicott and Tonya Harrison and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 17, 2013, from 5:30 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Jones & Son Funeral Home in Richton.
