The lifelong resident of Tattnall Co was a farmer and a member of Connor's BC.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Dora Rogers Collins of Cobbtown; five daughters, Mrs. Loretta Hemphill of Metter, Mrs. Ramona Lynn and Mrs. Yvonne Fulford both of Sav, Mrs. Faye Cook of Augusta and Mrs. Virginia Holland of Holly Wood, FL; a son, Ronald A. Collins of Reidsville; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Stewart and Mrs. Ethel Bird, both of Orland, FL; a brother Clarence Collins of Cobbtown; 18 grandhcildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Sunlight PBC, with burial in the church cemetery.
