She had lived in Savannah for most of her life. She worked as a hair dresser. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Temple and the Exchangettes Club of Savannah. She was predeceased by her husband, Cecil R Lynn; and two sons, Gary Reid Lynn and Terry Keith Lynn. She is survived by her daughter, Donna L Helmericks of Savannah.
