1991, at his home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1914, in Lane County,
the son of Charles and Myrtle McCloud Garton.
A lifetime Lane County-area resident,
he was a farmer and stockman.
He was a member of the United Methodist
Church, Dighton.
Survivors include: a sister, Lolita
Durr, Dighton, and two nieces.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday
at Boomhowcr Funeral Home, Dighton, with
the Rev. Robert Vance presiding. Burial
will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery,
Dighton. Memorials may be sent to the
United Mcthodiat Church in care of
the funeral home.
