Garton, 77, died Friday at her
home near Dighton following a
long illness. She was born July
13, 1887 in Mystic, Iowa.
She married Charles Garton June 11,
1899 in Iowa. They moved to
Lane County in 1906. He died in
1958.

Survivors: Sons, Charles Garton,
Jr. and Richard Garton,
both of Dighton; daughters,
Evelyn Garton, Dighton; Mrs.
Ronald (Lolita) Durr, Bona,
Colo.; sister, Mrs. Mary Barkley,
Canandaiqua, N.Y.; two
grandchildren; t h r e e great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday at
the church; Rev. H. J. Sterling.
Burial: Dighton Cemetery.
