Obituary:

SUNBURY - George B. Morgan, 58, died Thursday morning at 8:30 o'clock in his business establishment here. He was a native of Gates County, a member of the Philadelphia Methodist Church, a business man, and a son of the late J.E.L. and Maggie Morgan. Beulah Hunter Morgan; three sons, G.B. Morgan Jr., W. H. Morgan, both of Sunbury and C. S. Morgan of the U. S. Navy; three daughters, Mr.s Leon Russell Kneebone of State College, Pa., Mrs. E. E. Askew of Gatesville, Mrs. Lonnie Herven of Greensboro; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harry Kern of Sunbury. Funeral services will be held at Parkers Methodist Church at 4 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. C. D. Barcliff of the Trinity Methodist Church in Durham will officiate, assisted by the Rev. R. N. Knight of the Philadelphia Methodist Church, and the Rev. F. J. Duplissy of the Parkers Methodist Church. Burial will be in the family cemetery.
