Obituary. Our sweet loving mother passed away July 12, 2010, with her loving daughter by her side. Mom was born May 26, 1923, to Zachariah and Alice Ewell in Genola, Utah the 7th child of 12 children.


She married Daniel Orson Lance on Sept 27, 1941. Sealed in the Manti Temple on April 18, 1942.


She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mom had a strong testimony and held many church positions, including Young Women president and Relief Society president.


Mom was a wonderful example to her children. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and friend to everyone. Mom lost Dad on Jan 4, 2010, and missed him very much.


She is survived by her children, Sharlene (Everett) Peterson, Terrell (Donna) Lance, Dennis (Carol) Lance, and Trudy Pendleton, 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, brother Arlen Ewell, sisters, Udean Camp, Beth Scott, and Shirley Jackman.


Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 16, 2010, at 11:00 AM in the Valley View Stake Center 332 East 1000 North. A viewing will be held at the Church from 9:00-10:30 AM prior to the service. Burial in the Tooele City Cemetery.


We love you Mom and we will miss you so much.
