Mrs. Curry, who was Carrie E. Cook, was born in Fayette, Wis. She attended the public schools in Darlington, living there until her marriage to Mr. Curry. Mr. Curry was born in Adams county, Ohio, and came to Lafayette county in 1851.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Curry are active church workers and were instrumental in establishing the Methodist church at Lamont. They have eight children living and 21 grandchildren.

Darlington- Irving G. Curry, died at his home here Sunday night. Mr. Curry fell from a ladder about a week ago, and sustained injuries from which he failed to recover. Mrs. Curry and 10 children survive him.
