William Roe, an electrician for many years in Olathe was found dead at his home in Olathe, Saturday morning. Mr. Roe was employed at the Olathe Naval Air Station. His death was apparently caused by a heart attack.
Mr. Roe was 62 years old, having been born in Olathe, September 23, 1884. He lived at 133 W Park St. He was a member of the Chirstian church and the Eagle Lodge.
Surviving him are two brothers, Roscoe Roe and Dick Jackson Roe, both of Olathe, and two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Brunk of Olathe, and Mrs. Margaret McCabe of Mound City, Kansas.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Julian Chapel, the Rev. W. E. Babb officiating. Interment was in Olathe cemetery.
