MOCKSVILLE - Hayden W. Anderson, 79, Richie Road, died Friday (Feb. 23, 2001) at his home.
Born March 17, 1921, in Davie County, he was the son of the late Jessie Walker and William F. Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a self-employed landscaper and a member of the Church of Christ at North Main.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Anderson.
Survivors include sons Arnold and Alan Anderson, both of Mocksville, Doug Anderson of Kernersville and Randy Anderson of Winston-Salem; daughter Judy A. Brinkley; stepson Patrick Austin of Mocksville; stepdaughter Renee Potts of Mocksville; brothers Wayne Anderson of Winston-Salem, Jim Anderson of Kissimmee, Fla., and Bruce Anderson of Mocksville; sisters Wilma Danner of Mocksville, Joyce Goodman of Winston-Salem and Margaret Boger of Mocksville; 18 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Monday, Church of Christ at North Main, led by the Rev. Greg Elrod. Burial at Jericho Church of Christ.
Visitation: 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Davie Funeral Service Chapel.
