Virginia Boyatt, age 85 of Oneida, Tennessee departed this life on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center.

Born on May 6, 1927 she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Erma Jarbow Cordell. She was a member of Foster Cross Roads Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Carl Boyatt; her daughter- in-law Sharon Boyatt; her brothers and sisters, Johnny, Aubrey, Victory, Irene, Arlene and Evelyn.

She is survived by two sons, M.C. Boyatt, and Bill Boyatt and his wife Cheryl, both of Oneida; grandchildren, Brandon Ryon and husband Todd, Kimberly Boyatt, Kerry Boyatt and Willie Boyatt and fiancé Brittany Massengale; great-grandchildren, Todd Derek and Brock Aaron Ryon; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Boyatt family on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in the West-Murley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery in care of First National Bank, P.O. Box 4699 Oneida, Tennessee 37841.
