Erma Faulkner, 73, of Pine Knot, Ky., passed away in Somerset, Ky. Monday Nov. 16, 1970 after an illness of two months. She was the daughter of the late James Faulkner and the late Rosa Duncan, a member of the Meadows Grove Baptist Church. Survivors, three daughters, Mrs. Carl Boyatt of Oneida, Tenn., Mrs. Evelyn Bishop of Norwood, Ohio, Irene Cordell of Boyantsville, Ky., three sons, Victor and Aubry Cordell both of Pine Knot, Ky., Johnie Cordell of Roseburg, Oregon, thirty eight grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the New Light Baptist Church at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 19, 1970 with the Rev. Jerry Zachary, rev. Harrison Childers and Rev. Emby Kidd officiating.
