Mrs. Ruth H. Caldwell, 85, widow of Chester A. Caldwell, Sr., died Tuesday, Dec. 19 at her home in Blytheville.
Born at Huffman, Mrs. Caldwell was a member of a pioneer family and a direct descendant of the founder of Huffman.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Blytheville, a graduate of Ouachita Baptist College and a member of PIO Chapter N.
Survivors include two sons, Chester A. Caldwell, Jr and Daniel Huffman Caldwell, both of Blytheville; two sisters, Mrs. Iris H. Fleming of Richmond, V., and Mrs Cora Davis of Darlington, S.C.; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Kindrick officiating. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery.
