Cathyann (Gillespie) Schoenstein, 54, of Galloway passed away at her home Monday.

Born in Cape May Court House, she was formerly of Absecon. She was a 1977 graduate of Holy Spirit High School. She had been a 911 dispatcher for District 10 and had been a school crossing guard for the City of Absecon; a former member of the Absecon Fire Ladies Auxiliary.

She enjoyed family vacations during the summer in Weld, Maine with the Wades. She also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, crabbing and was famous for her blue claw crab recipe. She also caught a 28 lb. striper on Nov. 1, 2007.

Predeceased by her parents Bill and Maryann Minetti Gillespie; her sister Kelly and favorite dog Cody, she was survived by her husband Jim; brother Anthony "Tiger" Minetti (Kim); daughters Nicole Schoenstein (Bill) and Jessica Hennigar (Kevin); her grandson Billy Hammell; granddaughter Annabelle Hennigar and her two labs Tank and Moose.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date and entrusted to Wimberg Funeral Home 211 E. Great Creek Rd, Galloway, New Jersey.
