The daughter of Greenberry B. Skinner and Nancy Catherine "Kate" Wagaman, Sarah married Alfred Capp in 1904. They were the parents of 4 children.

Sarah was a homemaker, and Alfred was a railroad engineer.

Sarah died at Levering Hospital from a coronary occlusion. At the time of her death, she was 72 years, 10 months and 15 days old. She was survived by her husband, Alfred, and was buried on 30 Aug 1950.

Alfred passed away in 1959.
