Per her marriage record located in Scott County, Iowa. Her first husband was Alfred Davison, son of John T. and Laura Miller Davison. Alfred and Lena May were married on 25 Jan 1911 at Davenport,Iowa. Lena states that she was the daughter of Mamie Green and Ed Kesler and she was born in Fairview. She was 16 when they married.

In the 1900 & 1910 census of Farmington, IL, her mother is listed as Minnie not Mamie. By 1900, her mother had remarried to a Dexter Dikeman as Lena is listed in the 1900 and 1910 census living with her mom, Dexter Dikeman, and her three siblings; brothers Fred and John and her sister Alice.

FARMINGTON-Mrs. Lena M. Kline, 93, of 131 N. Main St. died at 9 p.m. Sunday at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.

Born March 8, 1894 in Fulton County to Edward and Minnie Dikeman Kesler, she married Clifton D. Kline, March 3, 1934 in Springfield. He died June 9, 1961. One son, Alfred F. Davison, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn J. Blankenship and Mrs. Alice McKee of Peoria; one son, Dexter Davison of Farmington; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Rebekah Lodge, Pythian Lodge, Women of the Moose and American Legion Auxiliary, all of Farmington.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Anderson FUneral Home, the Rev. B. Lawrence Sweeney officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home, with a Rebekah Lodge service at 7:30. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Farmington.
