FARMINGTON--Dexter J. Davison, 79, of 269 W. Fulton St. died at 3:55 a.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 1996, at Farmington Country Manor.
Born Feb. 21, 1917, in Farmington to Alfred and Lena Kessler Davison, he married Emma D. Bowton on Sept. 5, 1948, in Canton. She survives.
Also surviving are one niece and one nephew. One brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
He worked out of Steamfitters Local 353 in Peoria, retiring in 1979. A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of American Legion Post 140. He was a member of Canton Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Oak Ridge Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Home.
