Dinah Beason was the daughter of Nathan and Sarah (Turner)Beason. Dinah was named after Sarah (Turner) Beasons mother. She married Woodson M. Galloway on November 2, 1847 in Cedar County, Missouri. He was the son of Gregory and Martha Pasty (McConnell) Gannaway.
To this union nine children were born Sarah, Robert, James, Joseph, Emaline, Mason, Judith, Ephriam and Nathan.
Dinah applied for a Civil War Widows Pension on April 19, 1881. She lists only six of her nine children as under sixteen years of age at that time.
