They were the parents of 7 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Dartmouth, Bristol County, Massachusetts in 1850. He registered for military service in 1812. He died on 1 July 1863, in Brighton Township, Lorain County, Ohio at the age of 85, and was buried in Brighton Township Cemetery, Brighton Township, Lorain County, Ohio. Additional son, Hiram, (b. 1828 OH - d. 1862 Alcorn Co. MS)
