Born June 10, 1928 in Bradley County, AR. a daughter of the late Robert Gibb Cooper and Rosa Ida Carter Cooper.
She was a retired sales clerk for Johl and Bergman, a 1946 graduate of New Edinburg, AR. High School and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Also, preceding her in death were brothers James Alex Cooper, Rufus Clyde Cooper, William Earl Cooper and a sister Laura Cooper Herring.
Survivors are her husband Dan Murvin Clanton whom she married May 10, 1952. 1 son Delton M. Clanton and spouse Kay, Greenville, MS. 1 brother Jerry Cooper, Raleigh, N.C. 1 grandson William Matthew Clanton and spouse Jessica, Greenville, MS.
