Lynn was the son of Olen and Myrtle (Slaughter) Stevens. He served in the Paratroopers in the U.S. Army during WWII. He married Wanda Wimberly in December 18, 1948. They were blessed with four children: Jeannie, Hobby, Junior and Ricky. On September 21, 1960, Pack married Frances Tucker. They were blessed with one daughter: Mary Lynn, who joined Francis' children: Bill & Teresa Milam.
He was a 32nd degree Mason. He owned and operated Stevens Delivery Service in Abilene for several years before moving to Grand Prairie and working for the Grand Prairie Independent School District. Upon retirement in 1991, he and Frances moved to Lake Proctor in Comanche County. He is survived by one brother: Troy Stevens
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters: Velma, Verna & Pud, two brothers: Junion & Cotton, and one grandson.
