Mrs. George W. Douglas was born near Apple River, Ill., May 29th, 1848. Her father Dr. Wm. Law with his family moved to Shullsburg in the year 1866. Miss Cys Law was married to George W. Douglas, Dec. 24th, 1868 where they resided for a number of years.
Mrs. Douglas died at Norwalk, Wis., Sept. 4, 1918.
She leaves to mourn her departure from this world her husband, two daughters, Mrs. C.C. Townsend of Greeley, Colorado, Mrs. S.M. McHugh of Norwalk, Wis., a brother W.R. Law of Darlington.
The funeral services were held from Dr. Blackstone's residence Sunday afternoon Rev. Day officiating.
