Frank Austin Alexander, age 85, of Ross, died October 12, 2016 at Senior Care in Hewitt.

Funeral services will be at the Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel with burial at White Rock Cemetery.

Frank was born December 18, 1930 in Dallas the son of the late Hertha (Siemers) and Frank A. Alexander II.

He attended schools in Waco and was a 1949 graduate of Waco High School.

On December 6, 1952, he was united in marriage to Wanda Smith in Waco. Wanda preceded him in death on January 2, 2010.

Frank was a truck driver for Van Waters and Rogers Chemical Company in Dallas for over 30 years. He then worked for Barsh Construction Company in Waco for 18 years. He was a member of Gholson Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Frank enjoyed working in his shop and especially loved spending time with his family.

Survivors include sons, Alan Alexander and wife Dana of Whitney, Gene Alexander and wife Rhonda of Grapevine, and Carl Alexander of Overland Park, KS; a daughter, Dee Dee Hubbs and husband Mike of Arlington; a sister, Patti Alexander; grandchildren, Richard Alexander, Kelli Mee and husband Andy, Gina Seymour and husband Chris, Jill Daniel and husband Jordan, Katie Callaway and husband Ross, Amy Page and husband George, and Carlee Alexander; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
