Wanda was born in Hamlin, Texas, to the late Roy and Lela Sue Smith. She graduated from McGregor High School in 1951, and on Dec. 6, 1952, she was united in marriage to Frank Alexander in Waco. Wanda worked as a homemaker and accepted the Lord at an early age. She was a musician and played the organ for Tokio Baptist Church, Gateway Baptist Church, and Gholson Baptist Church. She also enjoyed baking and spending time with her family. She was also a member of Gholson Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 57 years, Frank Alexander of Ross; sons, Alan Alexander and wife, Dana, of Whitney, Gene Alexander and wife, Rhonda, of Grapevine, and Carl Alexander of Overland Park, Kan.; daughter, Dee Ann Hubbs and husband, Mike, of Arlington; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; five sisters; and many other family members and friends.
