SOARES, MARIA P. 88 died Thursday January 17, 2013 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Manuel A. Soares. She was born in Ponta Garca, Sao Miguel, Azores a daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Melo) Pinheiro.
Mrs. Soares leaves four daughters, Manuela Sousa, Connie daPonte, MaryJo Pacheco and Lidia Tavares; five sons, Antonio, Henrique, Jose, Gilbert and John Soares, one sister, Angelina Leite, 29 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Eduarda Travassos.
