Obituary - Samuel A. Hawkins- Stony Brook- Samuel A. Hawkins, a lifelong resident of this village, died last Saturday, April 15, after several weeks' illness. He is survived by his wife, Stella Barness Hawkins; eight children, all residents of Stony Brook, Miss Sadie L. Hawkins, Mrs. Harold O. Norton, Mrs. Selah Darling, Mrs. Percy W. Smith, Raymond, Homer, Leander, and Earle; also nine grandchildren. Funeral services were held at his late home on Tuesday. Burial took place in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery.
