Dennis James, 54, of Laurel, passed away at his home. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013,

Dennis was born to Bernard and Violet James July 4, 1958. He married his high school sweetheart, Linda, July 30, 1977, and they settled in Laurel to raise their family.
Dennis started working at Burlington Northern in 1976 and continued to work for Montana Rail Link for the rest of his career. He was an avid outdoorsman and craftsmen, who always put 100 % into all the things he set his mind on, spending countless hours in his shop.
Dennis is survived by his wife, Linda; their son, Jeremy (April); daughter, Danielle (TJ); four grandchildren, Tate, Ciara, Cyrus and Jordan; and countless family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Smith Funeral Chapel-Laurel.
